• We are working in the setup of a collaboration program to allow research and education institutions in Latin America access to state-of-the-art integration technologies. This enterprise is called the Latin American Consortium for Integrated Services LACIS

• With a group of colleagues, we are organizing a special session on "Piecewise linear circuits and systems'' to be held in the IEEE conference ISCAS 2003. The special session has been approved by the corresponding committee and the papers will be submitted shortly. 

• We succesfully organized the 2002 IEEE Latin American CAS tour on Nanotechnology and Giga-scale systems in México (INAOE), Colombia (Universidad de Los Andes) and Argentina (Universidad Nacional del Sur, Bahia Blanca).
